Northern Irish actor Ray stevenson died at the age of 58.

Ray stevenson actor know for his notable roles in the film "King Arthur" and the popular HBO series "Rome", also in Indian film "RRR", Unfortunately, he passed away on Sunday, May 21.

Variety was informed about his death by his publicist on Monday, although no specific cause of death was disclosed.

According to the Italian newspaper Republica, the actor's passing occurred at the Rizzoli hospital on the island.

He had reportedly been receiving medical treatment for an undisclosed illness while filming "Cassino" on Ischia. The circumstances surrounding his final days remain shrouded in secrecy.

Stevenson initially started his acting journey in theater, receiving critical acclaim for his stage performances. 

He later transitioned to on-screen roles, making his film debut in the 1993 movie "The Theory of Flight. He continued to make an impact in the industry with appearances in films such as "Punisher: War Zone" (2008) and "Thor" (2011), portraying the character Volstagg.
